San Francisco Restaurant Owner Survives Knife Attack After Asking Woman to Leave

A restaurant owner in San Francisco is recovering after surviving a knife attack inside his business on Tuesday evening.

According to witnesses, the incident began when the owner asked a woman to leave after she was seen acting suspiciously and possibly engaging in drug activity near the counter. Security footage shows the woman pulling out a knife and lunging toward the owner before being restrained by bystanders.

Police and paramedics quickly arrived on the scene. The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to recover fully. The suspect was taken into custody for assault with a deadly weapon and remains under investigation.

Local residents say the area has seen a rise in confrontations linked to drug activity and homelessness. Many business owners are now calling for stronger protection and faster police response.
